Wright Dairy Ice Cream opened in Birmingham on September 1, 2006, owned and operated by Carla Manning, granddaughter of Wright Dairy founders, Milton and Ruth Wright. Their son David Wright owns and operates present-day Wright Dairy at Alexandria, AL where the cows are milked and the milk is bottled and made into ice cream, right on the farm. Wright Dairy milk (non-homogenized, and no hormones given) and super-premium ice cream is available here at Wright Dairy Ice Cream and Natural Foods.
